Rental Agreement

Additional Information

The Driver will be responsible for ALL damages to the vehicle during the duration of the rental (agreed pick up date to agreed return date).


1. Payment Information:

We accept all major credit cards, cash or direct deposits to the business account. There is a 4% fee for all credit/debit card payments. We do not accept American Express or personal cheques.

Security deposits must be paid in order to reserve a vehicle. Security deposits can be paid by way of debit/credit card on the website or through our PayPal Account: ppd242@hotmail.com .

Please allow 5-7 days for processing of security deposit


2. Insurance Information:

All of our cars are equipped with basic insurance (Third Party Insurance) ONLY. This insurance covers damages to the other vehicle that was involved in the accident, but does not cover you or your vehicle.

We do, however, offer a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) at a cost of $15.00/day. This CDW covers damages or total loss to your vehicle, after the first $2,000.00 is paid toward damages/loss. Please note that this amount ($2,000.00) can increase, depending on whether the vehicle was being driven in a manner contrary to the laws of the Road Traffic Department and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. This will be determined by an assessment by the Royal Bahamas Police Force which will be made available in a police report.


3. Eligible Driver:

All drivers MUST be 25 years or older and present a VALID driver's license in order to rent a vehicle.


4. Fuel Policy:

Vehicles must be returned on the same gas level as was rented. Failure to do so will result in a deduction of security deposit and in some cases, may require additional funds from the customer. This can be done via credit/debit card payment or cash.


5. Loss of Key:

There is a $250.00 fee for lost keys. This amount will be billed to your credit card or must be paid in cash on or before the vehicle is returned.


6. Cancelation Policy:

Vehicles must be canceled at least 2 weeks prior to pick up date. Failure to do so will result in security deposit being forfeited and the renter charged for inconvenience fees.

Further, because the nature of this company is to reserve vehicles, any customer who wishes to return a vehicle early will not receive a refund for the remaining days. The funds for the remaining days will be forfeited and used for inconvenience fees.


7. Cleaning Fee

Vehicles that are returned extremely dirty (i.e, beach sand, dirty seats, rugs/mats and ceiling) that may require detailing services will be billed to the renter's credit card or deducted from the deposit. Agents from Pick Pay Drive Car Rentals will use their discretion to determine what is extremely dirty.


8. Non-Smoking Policy

Smoking is prohibited in all vehicles. There is a $200 cleaning fee for violation.


9. Loss of Hub Caps and Car Mats

There is a $100 fee for loss of hub caps and car mats. In other words, if 1 out of the 4 are missing from the set, the driver agrees to pay the fee for a complete set.


10. Scratches to the Vehicle

There is a $250 fee for any vehicle that is returned with scratches. This fee will be added to the total cost of the rental, billed to the driver's credit card or payable in cash.


11. Pick Up Instructions:

One of our Agents will be at the terminal to greet you and will walk you to your rental car which will be parked alongside the street.
